About Miracles Club

Miracles Club is a Black and peer led recovery support center in Portland, Oregon offering free and confidential peer services for anyone seeking freedom from or harm reduction related to alcohol and drug use.

The center provides Certified Recovery Mentors with lived experience and onsite recovery meetings as well as sober housing resources and wraparound support services. The organization centers safe spaces for marginalized and historically oppressed racial and ethnic groups while welcoming all clients on their recovery journey.

What services does Miracles Club offer?

The center hosts onsite Narcotics Anonymous and other recovery meetings, operates sober housing options including Miracles Club Apartments, and offers practical supports like acupuncture and a monthly expungement clinic.

Peer mentors also help with advocacy through criminal justice and child welfare plus connections to housing and transportation, education and employment, and medical care.

Who can get help at Miracles Club?

The center serves all clients seeking recovery or harm reduction with a specific mission to create safe and affirming spaces for Black communities and other historically marginalized racial and ethnic groups.

Miracles Women’s Transitional Housing supports African American women engaged in addiction treatment services. The meeting schedule includes women’s meetings and LGBTQ designated formats.

Is there a cost for services?

Peer recovery services at Miracles Club are completely free and confidential. Optional membership is $10 per month or $100 per year and paid members can vote on the Board of Directors and help guide organizational activities.
