About FCC Behavioral Health Adolescent Horizons

FCC Behavioral Health Adolescent Horizons is a CARF-accredited adolescent substance use treatment program in Kennett, Missouri, serving male and female youth ages 12 to 17.

The program offers residential, day treatment, intensive outpatient and outpatient care, supporting teens with substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health concerns, trauma histories and court-involved or LGBTQ backgrounds.

As part of the nonprofit FCC Behavioral Health network, Horizons aims to meet adolescents where they are developmentally, academically and emotionally, helping them build a foundation for lasting recovery.

Building Strong Connections and Life Skills for Adolescents

Adolescent Horizons focuses exclusively on teens, structuring care around the unique social, family and educational needs of youth in recovery.

The program operates two residential group homes on the same campus as the treatment center, creating a home-like setting for young people who need a higher level of support.

Clinicians use evidence based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, contingency management, anger management, relapse prevention and trauma related counseling.

Individual, group and family sessions help teens address underlying issues while building healthier coping skills and stronger family connections.

A Continuum of Care for Teens and Families

Horizons provides a true step-down pathway, moving youth from residential care into day treatment, IOP and outpatient services as they progress.

Wraparound supports include educational and vocational assistance, peer mentoring, self-help groups, substance use education and discharge planning, with sign language services available for deaf and hard of hearing clients.

Affordable In Person and Telehealth Services

The program is located on Jones Street in Kennett, Missouri, with in-person services, residential housing and telemedicine options available for adolescents across Southeast Missouri.
