About Bridge House Shreveport
Bridge House Shreveport is also known as The Stoner Avenue Bridge House and is a men’s sober living residence in Shreveport, Louisiana that offers transitional recovery housing for men who wish to overcome alcohol and drug addiction. This is a nonprofit halfway house.
They provide a structured substance free environment that bridges the gap between formal treatment and independent living and has served the North Louisiana recovery community since its founding in the late 1950s.
Transitional Sober Living Residence for Men
Bridge House is a transitional sober living residence. Men typically arrive after they have completed formal treatment and use the residence as a safe next step toward lasting sobriety and independence. Daily life centers on a 12 step program and the application of recovery principles.
Residents benefit from a small structured household and peer based support from fellow residents and volunteers as well as alumni who model sober and productive lives.
