About Pecan Haven Addiction Recovery Center
The Pecan Haven Addiction Recovery Center is in the heart of a pecan grove in Monroe, Louisiana. They first opened their doors in 2015 and originally served adolescent boys who were struggling with addiction. They’ve since grown to now serve both men and women aged 21 years and older.
When you seek treatment, you’ll have access to quality care in a residential treatment setting. If you’re struggling with drug, alcohol, or substance use, or have a co occurring mental health struggle, you’ll find compassionate care designed to help you build the skills you need for a sober future.
The Recovery Center is secluded and sits on 35 acres of land among lush, beautiful pecan trees. This remote setting gives you a peaceful and tranquil place to reflect on the therapies and skills you’ll learn in treatment.
You’ll live in one of their community cabins where you’ll find comfortable rooms, welcoming and comfortably furnished common areas, and an overall atmosphere that is home like. This inviting atmosphere will help put your mind at ease and encourage you to connect with the community of staff and peers you’ll work with on a daily basis.
When you’re receiving treatment, you can expect evidence based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy and medication assisted treatment. They have FDA approved medications, including naltrexone (Vivitrol), buprenorphine (Suboxone), and injectable buprenorphine.
You’ll also have ample leisure time where you can build relationships with other peers moving through the program. Some of the recreational activities you’ll find are a fully equipped fitness center, basketball and sand volleyball courts, and even fishing in the community pond.
