Dual Diagnosis and Inpatient Psychiatric Care in Mandeville

Northlake specializes in acute inpatient psychiatric stabilization for adults and adolescents with dedicated programming for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Adults with dual diagnosis needs receive integrated care that may include detoxification alongside psychiatric treatment.

Adult treatment draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and psychotherapy, solution based therapy and crisis intervention, holistic therapy, and medication management. The Intensive Outpatient Program further supports adults in transition.

For adolescents ages 12 to 17, Northlake provides acute inpatient psychiatric care with daily psychiatrist involvement and counseling. Integrative therapies including music therapy, pet therapy, recreational therapy, and exercise therapy help engage younger patients in the healing process.

Northlake Behavioral Health System serves the greater Mandeville and Northshore Louisiana area with in-person inpatient and outpatient services at its Highway 190 campus. Admissions staff are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for walk-in or phone assessments.

The facility accepts most PPO and HMO insurance plans, Medicaid and Medicare for inpatient services, and offers self-pay discounts, charity care, and payment plan options for those who qualify.
