About New Foundation Scottsdale (Closed)

Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, The New Foundation (TNF) is a now-closed nonprofit facility that used to provide accredited behavioral health and educational services for kids and teens across the state.

Residential Addiction Treatment Programming East of Phoenix

The Level I residential programming offered here was intended to provide 24-hour supervision and intensive care services to residents. The teen-to-staff ratio was kept intentionally low for more intimate hands on care. Addiction treatment was offered here alongside mental health support.

Residents benefitted from nutritious meals and snacks, fuelling them for various treatment elements including life skills and communication training, pet therapy and art therapy, along with recreational and specialized arts programming. Clients who completed Level I were occasionally transitioned to either Level II, or outpatient care.

Intensive Therapeutic Intervention (ITI) for Substance Abuse in Scottsdale

This program was designed specifically for teens aged 11-17 struggling with addiction. Master’s level therapists provided individual, group, and family counseling using various therapeutic styles.

Forward Thinking Journaling, a self-reflection writing program endorsed by SAMHSA, was also available.
