About Upper Valley Turning Point

Upper Valley Turning Point is a community recovery center in White River Junction, Vermont supporting people in recovery from substance use disorder.

The center provides free peer support, recovery coaching, educational programs, family support services and mutual-help meetings seven days a week.

Operating under the Second Wind Foundation it offers a safe, substance-free space that recognizes many paths to recovery and welcomes members, visitors and their friends alike.

Peer-Led Recovery Community Support

Peer support is at the heart of what Upper Valley Turning Point offers with no application or fee required to participate.

Recovery coaches, referrals and treatment navigation help members connect to the resources they need, while meetings like AA, NA, Al-Anon, All Recovery, OA and Recovery Dharma provide ongoing community.

The center pairs practical support with genuine connection, offering Narcan at no cost and partnering with local organizations for overdose response and medication-assisted recovery.

Transitional Recovery Housing

In addition to its drop-in services Upper Valley Turning Point offers gender-specific transitional housing through Willow Grove for women and Jack’s House for men.

These substance-free residences support people in early recovery with typical stays of six to twelve months. Residents may appreciate the safe spaces where everyone is has the same goal of lasting sobriety.

The center serves the Upper Valley in person with office hours weekdays and extended evening and weekend hours for meetings and events.
