The Caroll Institute’s The Arch is a residential treatment center located in the picturesque community of Sioux Falls, South Carolina. They service adults who are struggling with their mental health or have a co occurring substance use struggle.

You’ll also find specialized programs here, including care for first responders. Often, first responders and those in the line of duty or in the healthcare field experience traumatic circumstances that can overwhelm their mental health.

It’s not uncommon for many of these professionals to cope with drugs and alcohol to manage their overwhelming experiences. The first responder’s program can help you navigate these challenges with thoughtful, trauma informed care.

Situated in the heart of Sioux Falls, you’ll have access to everything this community has to offer while you receive treatment at the Arch. You can find a slower pace to life here through their many community attractions including the Sertoma Butterfly House & Aquarium, the Great Plains Zoo and Delbridge Museum of Natural History, and their popular Falls Park that features waterfalls, rock formations, and beautiful views of Big Sioux River.

This slower pace of life is reflected in the Arch’s thoughtfully designed residential space. You’ll find modern styling, comfortable rooms, and inviting community rooms for you to lounge in. Meals are also homemade, varied, and nutritious.

The recovery facility is within walking distance to downtown. Plus, you’ll have access to public transportation services here, making it easy for you to move around the town. Whether you need to go out for work or want to explore the town, you’ll be able to do so here as you begin rebuilding your life and developing the skills you need for success.
