Opportunity House Inc provide long-term structured sober living in Hobbs, New Mexico for men age 18 and older in recovery.

The program combines phased accountability, 12-step participation, employment expectations and life-skills development for men committed to a substance-free environment.

Opportunity House focuses on helping residents rebuild personal responsibility and re-enter their community as productive citizens across Lea County.

Long-Term Sober Living for Men in Recovery

Opportunity House offers 12, 18 and 24-month sober living options within a three-phase program built around stabilization, strengthening responsibility and preparing for independent living.

As a non-medical recovery residence rather than a detox or inpatient center it provides 24/7 structured support across two houses with 26 total beds.

Residents take part in required recovery meetings, classes, one-on-one support, chores, regular evaluations and random drug and alcohol testing.

This daily structure paired with sponsorship and 12-step work helps men address the roots of addiction while building consistent, accountable routines.

Life Skills, Employment, and Reintegration Support

Beyond housing Opportunity House offers coaching and classes in relapse prevention, financial literacy, life skills, anger management and parenting support.

Practical help with transportation, meals and work necessities keeps residents stable and employable.

The program can also serve as an alternative to state or county incarceration for non-violent drug and alcohol offenders.
