Addiction Treatment Programs with AMI Kids

Treatment typically begins in a residential long-term inpatient setting ranging approximately 200 days, where medically supervised detox may be provided when needed. They have 16 beds for teens. After completing residential care, clients transition to outpatient services to maintain progress and continue growth.

Within these programs adolescents will receive therapy through individual counseling and group therapy, guided by behavioral therapy, peer support or 12-Steps, and relapse prevention planning. Dual diagnosis services ensure that mental health needs are assessed and treated alongside addiction, and special populations (such as LGBT youth, hearing-impaired, Spanish or Navajo speakers, or juvenile justice referrals) are fully accommodated.
