About Turquoise Lodge Hospital Albuquerque

Located in the south of Albuquerque, New Mexico, is Turquoise Lodge Hospital. If you are struggling with substance use or have a co occurring mental health struggle, you’ll find a continuum of care in this medical facility, including inpatient support and outpatient care.

Medical detox is also offered here and lasts anywhere from 5 to 10 days. Once your body has stabilized, you’ll work with your care team to determine what your next steps are. Many people go on to enroll in their social rehab stay. This program will last anywhere from 25 to 30 days.

Although they serve adults of all backgrounds who are ready to start recovering, they give priority to pregnant women, women with children, and men who have lost custody of their children and are trying to regain them. Adults who inject drugs and other substances are also given priority.

Because this is a hospital facility, you can expect quality and clinical approaches to care. There’s also a strong emphasis on patient safety, and you’ll see that reflected in the way the clinical team here operates as well as how the overall facility is laid out. If you or a loved one have co-occurring mental health challenges where you become a risk to your own safety, this facility is equipped to support you.

One of the main benefits of seeking care here is that you’ll be located in one of the most culturally rich and iconic cities in New Mexico. Home to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta in Balloon Fiesta Park, an eclectic downtown, and the backdrop of the majestic Sandia Mountains, this is a beautiful place to set down roots after you complete your recovery program. Plus, you’ll get to practice the recovery skills you’ve gained in a community that is diverse and accepting of individuals from all walks of life.

The care team here also encourages connecting with the community so that you can productively reintegrate back into society. For example, once you complete your recovery program, you’ll be encouraged to continue seeking care through community 12 Step programs like Narcotics Anonymous.
