About Teen Challenge of the Midlands Crisis

Teen Challenge of the Midlands Crisis, also known as Sheepgate is a faith-based men’s re-entry program in Omaha, Nebraska.

The program serves as the final phase of a long-term residential recovery continuum for adults struggling with addiction and other life-controlling issues.

The Omaha campus focuses on discipleship, mentoring and community reintegration rather than a traditional clinical therapy model.

The program is Christ-centered and built around long-term life change, spiritual growth and lasting recovery.

Faith-Based Recovery Programs

The men’s program is structured as a one-year residential experience beginning with approximately seven months at the Colfax, Iowa campus before transitioning to the Omaha site.

This phase is for the final five months of re-entry and aftercare support.

Admission typically begins with a phone or in-person interview through the organization’s admissions office.

Community Integration Support

During the re-entry phase, residents live in a supportive environment while engaging in Bible-based curriculum, character development, employment readiness and reintegration into church and community life.

The approach centers on mentoring and daily discipleship to help men build a stable, faith-rooted foundation for independent living.

The team can walk guests through program expectations, the two-campus structure and fees or financial support options.
