Peer Led Sober Living in Omaha

Oxford House East Street operates on the Oxford House model as a self supporting recovery residence where residents share expenses and govern the home collectively. With a maximum capacity of six residents, the home provides an intimate and structured environment focused on sobriety and personal responsibility.

Residents participate in 12 step meetings and support groups as part of their recovery journey. The democratic structure means everyone has a voice in house decisions creating accountability and encouraging active engagement in the recovery process.

This peer driven approach helps clients develop life skills, maintain sobriety, and transition successfully back into independent living.

Support Beyond the Home

The home connects residents to job placement assistance, housing resources, and financial support to address practical barriers to recovery. Monthly connections with other Oxford Houses in the area provide additional peer support and shared governance expanding the recovery network beyond a single residence.
