Addiction Treatment Programs
Dual Diagnosis
When you have a dual diagnosis, you have mental health and substance use concerns. It’s important to choose a rehab in Alaska that can treat both. A successful recovery may require counseling, peer support, and even mental health medication to help you manage your mental health symptoms and find better coping strategies.
Adult Program
Those who join an adult program in Alaska are given training in key life skills to help them with parenting, their career, and more. Adult programs may include detox, inpatient treatment, outpatient care, aftercare services, and more. In addition, they will help you navigate the challenges you face in daily life.
Young Adult Rehab
Young adult rehabs in Alaska help young people overcome substance use and learn new life skills. Young adult programs may include detox, inpatient treatment, outpatient care, aftercare services, and more.

Inpatient Rehab
If you want or need to focus on recovery without distractions, consider inpatient treatment in Alaska. Inpatient treatment provides focused therapy that allows you to understand the roots of substance use, learn healthy coping skills, and create a new life.
Therapies
Cognitive Behavior Therapy
Cognitive behavioral therapy in Alaska can help you challenge the thoughts behind your emotions and actions. CBT may include role-playing to help you imagine specific situations that might trigger a negative reaction so you can practice challenging automatic thoughts and choosing a more positive response.
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy in Alaska is led by a professional therapist who talks to you about your specific experiences and emotions. Individual therapy is only one element of rehab treatment, along with activities, peer support, group counseling, relapse prevention, and more. Together, all these methods support you in establishing long-term recovery.
Family Therapy
During family therapy in Alaska, clients have a supportive environment to talk with family members about conflict and unhealthy behaviors that may trigger substance use. During family therapy, you may talk about acceptance issues, past trauma, communication problems, and more. These discussions are facilitated by a professional who brings an unbiased perspective and can promote healthy communication.
