About Santa Monica House Women

Santa Monica House is a women’s addiction treatment center in Omaha, Nebraska, offering a continuum of residential recovery services for women working to overcome alcohol and drug addiction.

Founded in 1972, Santa Monica House delivers trauma informed, gender responsive care designed to help women rebuild stability, independence and lasting recovery.

Women’s Recovery and Transitional Care

Treatment often begins with the Intermediate Residential Program, a 90-day primary care experience focused on stabilization through individual and group therapy along with health support.

Women may then step down into a long-term halfway house program lasting six to 12 months, followed by three-quarter housing and supported transitional apartments.

Clients can expect weekly group therapy, one-on-one counseling, 12-step participation, relapse prevention and family education.

Clinical approaches include CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, the Matrix Model and Women’s Integrated Treatment, with support for co-occurring mental health concerns, trauma and gambling disorders.
