Southwest Counseling Recovery Center is a comprehensive addiction treatment center in Rock Springs, Wyoming serving Sweetwater County with a full continuum of substance use disorder and behavioral health services. Programs range from outpatient and intensive outpatient to short term social detox and long term residential care.

What levels of addiction treatment are available?

Southwest Counseling Recovery Center offers drug and alcohol assessments, Intensive Outpatient Program at ASAM Level II.1, Continuing Care and Relapse Prevention groups and social detox, and residential Therapeutic Community treatment averaging four to six months.

Medication Addiction Treatment and DUI education through the evidence based Prime for Life curriculum are also available. CARF accreditation covers detoxification, outpatient and intensive outpatient, residential, and court treatment programs.

Who can get help here?

The center serves adults, justice involved clients, and adolescents ages 12 to 17. A specialized Women’s Addiction Program provides residential treatment for pregnant women and mothers with minor children with daycare support available so children can remain with their parent during treatment.

Gender specific Jail Based Treatment is offered at the Sweetwater County Detention Center for court ordered and incarcerated clients.

What does treatment cost, and is insurance accepted?

The center offers a free eligibility screening by phone to determine whether clients qualify for low cost or free treatment through state funding. A sliding fee scale may also be available based on the outcome of a Behavioral Health Eligibility Screening.
