Serenity Recovery and Wellness offers specialized maternal mental health treatment in Provo, Utah with a flagship intensive outpatient program designed for pregnant and postpartum mothers. While the Provo location also provides broader outpatient mental health and recovery services its defining focus is the perinatal IOP that supports mothers and babies together.

Maternal Mental Health IOP With Complimentary Childcare

The maternal mental health intensive outpatient program serves mothers experiencing prenatal and postpartum depression and anxiety, perinatal OCD and intrusive thoughts, birth trauma, and related concerns.

Mothers and babies attend together three days a week for three hours per session, supported by complimentary childcare and clinicians including a Licensed Clinical Social Worker certified by Postpartum Support International.

Clients participate in counseling with care guided by evidence based modalities such as CBT and DBT, EMDR and trauma therapy, and family therapy.

Additional Services and Coverage Options

Beyond the maternal IOP Serenity Recovery and Wellness provides outpatient counseling and trauma therapy, recreational therapy, family therapy, and recovery oriented support incorporating 12 step principles.

The practice works with major private insurance plans including Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, Cigna, SelectHealth, PEHP, UnitedHealthcare, UMR, TriWest, and others. Self pay options and HSA payments are also accepted.
