About Cumberland Mountain Mental Health Center

In Crossville, Tennessee, Volunteer Behavioral Health’s Crossville Campus is a nonprofit treatment center providing substance use treatment, recovery services and mental health care. You’ll find outpatient therapy for adults, children and families, plus an intensive outpatient program.

Mobile crisis response teams are dispatched to hospitals and physician’s offices as well as jails and homes where community members are experiencing a mental health crisis. Their Juvenile Justice Reform (JJR) Program provides six free months of in-home and community-based services for juveniles and their families who are involved in the justice system.

The JJR is funded by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.

CHOICES Program and Onsite Genoa Pharmacy

Volunteer Behavioral Health’s CHOICES Program provides intensive outpatient care for women who have both substance use and mental health disorders. The center also offers psychiatric medication management.

There’s a Genoa Pharmacy right on site, which is handy when medication management is part of your care. Having treatment and a pharmacy on the same Crossville campus can mean fewer separate stops during your day.

TennCare is accepted, along with some other public or private coverages though the selection of plans is limited. The center also offers essential services at discounted rates or on a sliding fee scale based on household income.
