You’ll find Connections CSP’ Harrington Withdrawal Management Center located in Harrington, Delaware. The staff provides behavioral health services to address and treat co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. MAT for Stabilization

When you first arrive at Connections, they will evaluate your conditions and determine what level of care you might require. I find it good to know that they offer detox services if you require treatment to address your withdrawal symptoms.

Depending on your addiction, they may offer you medication assisted treatment (MAT) to ease your withdrawal symptoms with medication. This may decrease your cravings and also provide a more comfortable experience as you reach stabilization. MAT is available 24/7, even though ambulatory services are the norm.

As you near completion of your detox, they will work with you to provide follow up care options to continue your treatment and goals towards recovery.

Aftercare Planning and Support

When inducting clients into MAT, their staff features structured therapy programs, one-on-one counseling, group therapy sessions and medication management. They will also work with family members to help in healing damaged relationships and in providing empathy and understanding.

Additionally, they offer aftercare support and access to resources. Resources may include access to housing services through community organizations and social services and treatment for DUIs and other court-mandated requirements.
