Hello recovery family.....
"What brings you serenity through out your daily walk"? For me besides the meetings and recovery lititure and helping others, im talking about those times that you are alone at home, or arrent able to get to a meeting & others are not available. I personally believe in those moments or days that, that is when GOD is wanting to spend some time with me. In early recovery those alone times were very scary for me and the silence was in a way deffening and fearfull, that was a little over 6yrs ago. Now i have really come to enjoy those moments and actually make the time to just sit in the quiet with GOD just to talk, praise or thank HIM for HIS most amazing love. Now those silent moments have become very precious to me and the number one serenity moment to my day. After all the pressures of life and things we do each day. No phones, i-pods, t.v, radio ect..total silence. The quiet still moments with my beautiful GOD are my beloved treasure. |
