Ellen O’Brien Gaiser Center provides addiction treatment offering high-intensity residential care in Butler.

The center treats adults with substance use disorders, including opioid use disorder and co-occurring behavioral health needs.

Inpatient Opioid Use Disorder Treatment

The Gaiser Center provides 24/7 inpatient treatment in gender-specific, trauma-informed living spaces for men and women.

Services include medication assisted treatment, wellness and mental health assessments, medication management and individualized level-of-care planning.

Treatment blends therapies with holistic supports such as yoga, mindfulness, equine therapy and family programming.

Clients are also encouraged to engage in 12-step, Refuge Recovery or SMART Recovery communities to support lasting sobriety.

Women’s Recovery Housing

For women stepping down from residential care, Ellen’s House offers a state-licensed recovery home with capacity for up to 12 women and welcoming accommodations for children.

The four-bedroom residence supports continued recovery, family reunification and stability in a safe, structured environment.

Treatment includes outpatient and telehealth options available through the Liberty Street office, serving western Pennsylvania and Ohio.
